There is a peculiar magic that happens in the city of
Milwaukee that I first discovered at the young age of 18, and every time I experience this harmony, I return back to my home base feeling quite content, usually in a deep haze, not fully understanding how such a quaint city can make such a loud noise. It has to be a combination of the very talented and upstanding folks who live and/or come from there, Midwestern charm/personality, and major beer pride. It's one of the most difficult places for me to try and explain properly, because you'll never really know unless you know.
Hallmark card-ish, I know.
This last weekend was no exception. We got branded together, experienced a heavy closing out of a very significant time in many of our lives, saw some baseball, mastered brunching, and dabbled in our fair share of unruly behavior. Needless to say, we are all heavily bruised this week.
